2011 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
John Cerrato is a 2012 SS/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Enfield, CT who attends Enfield. Medium build athlete with present strength. Very solid on the infield. Playable tools that work at SS and would project at 3B as well. Arm action is solid with more velocity to come. Square, even stance at the plate. Stays back and balanced at the plate. Aggressiveness in swing, gets hands out front and looks to pull the ball. Long swing with an opposite field approach. Showed bat control and good pop to right-center field. Very good student.
