Jimmy Titus is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Stafford, CT who attends East Catholic HS. Titus has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he fields the ball out front well with nice hands. He has a quick arm action with some arm strength. He showed good lateral movement in game at 3B. Solid defensive tools to improve with. At the plate, Titus starts with a high deep hand set with a spread stance. He has a longer swing with some bat speed. Titus has an aggressive swing and gets extension. He has a flat swing path with some line drive contact. Titus pitches from a low 3/4 to side arm arm slot with a long extended slinging arm action. He gets closed at balance point and lands 6 inches open at landing. Titus gets good run and sink on his fastball with more velocity in there with some lower half adjustments. Excellent student, named to Top Prospect Team.

Jimmy Titus is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Stafford, CT who attends East Catholic. Young body with lean athleticism and lots of room to fill out. Big potential overall, very good actions on the infield. Quick feet, good actions, fields easily with present feel. Quick release from low slot, solid present arm strength with more to come. Right handed hitter. good balance and extension in swing. Solid stroke, strong thru contact. Line drive swing plane with bat speed, quick hands and loose wrists. On the mound, long arm circle, extension out front. Works quickly and attacks hitters. Shows athleticism and fields position well. Sweeping curveball, good arm action on straight changeup.
