Shane Selman is a 2015 OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX who attends Westbrook HS. Medium athletic build, very good present strength for a 2015. Left handed thrower, right handed hitter, upper cut swing plane, aggressive swing, has some bat speed, ball jumps off barrel well, can drive the ball to the alleys, stays inside the ball, leveling out swing is a potential goal. Very good outfield fundamentals, 6.98 runner, good footwork, on line accurate throws, compact arm action, arm strength will continue to improve. Also pitched, balanced on line delivery, limited lower half use, high 3/4's release slot, arm works well, fastball topped at 78 mph, gets some spin on 70 mph curveball. All around athlete with very nice potential across the board, follow closely.
