He has an overhand arm slot on the mound, long arm action, soft stab in back, falls to first base, opens front shoulder, low effort motion, tall and fall delivery, sink on fastball, good downhill plane, keeps ball down, fields position well, throws a lot of strikes, gets groundballs. He is a solid student.

John Streitmann is a 2012 RHP with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Lamar HS. Strong well developed build, fairly mature. Standard leg raise delivery, lands a bit closed, hard front side, high 3/4's arm slot, full arm circle, arm works well. Fastball topped at 84 mph early, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. 10 to 4 curveball, threw curveball for strikes once in rhythm, rare change up, has feel for change up. Delivery adjustments should show immediate benefits to command/stuff. Good student.
