Michael Vaitkunas is a 2013 RHP/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Auburn, MA who attends Auburn. Medium build with projection. Versatile athlete. On the mound, balanced delivery, medium balanced kick, stays over back leg. Throws from 3/4 slot with extension out front. Aggressive delivery on downhill angle. Ball comes out of hand well, fastball shows arm side run. Solid command, also throws curveball with 11/5 break and depth, changeup floats out of hand. Good defensive infielder, aggressive, charges ball, clean actions, quick transfer, solid arm strength. Right handed hitter, middle of the field approach, line drive contact, uses lower half and hips well in swing. Excellent student.
