Sam Grise is a 2012 C/3B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Evergreen, CO who attends Evergreen HS. Slender build with long limbs, developing strength. Good arm strength, quick release, on line accurate throws, 1.96 best pop time, tends to stand up to throw, athletic actions shifting/blocking, 7.09 runner. Right handed hitter, rotational swing, stays over back side, stays inside ball, opposite to mid field contact, line drive swing plane, beginnings of some bat speed. Hustling type player, good approach to the game. Good student.
