Kacy Clemens is a 2013 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial HS. Large athletic frame, lots of room to get stronger. 7.34 runner, very good defensive actions at first base, good agility, soft hands, long overhand release on throws, charges the ball well, playable at third base as well. Left handed hitter, open wide stance, opens lower half early, gets to front side, pull approach, has hand quickness and strength, finds the barrel well, will develop more power. Also pitched, full hands over head delivery, gets back turned, compact arm action, high 3/4's slot. Fastball to 84 mph, mostly straight, threw harder out of the stretch than windup. Slider showed some depth and bite at times, slowed arm on rare change up. Son of Roger Clemens.
