Scott Anderson is a 2005 right handed pitcher from Sarasota, Florida, with a 6'0", 180 lb. frame. He has a deliberate delivery and a standard ¾ release point on his pitches. Anderson’s fastball was only 71-74 mph in Fort Myers, but he had nice sinking action on the pitch and controlled the ball low in the strike zone and was thus able to get four quick ground ball outs during his two innings of work. Anderson’s curveball was 60-63 mph and he noticeably slowed his arm stroke on this pitch. He also threw a couple of 64 mph change ups. He has a good feel for the mound. Scott is a very strong student.

Scott Anderson is a 2005 RHP/3B from Sarasota, FL. At 6', 180, Scott has a good frame that can handle more muscle as he continues to mature. Defensively he shows average actions with a very good glove, and good footwork at 3B. Offensively he hits from a wide base with an open stance and long stride that has a heavy weight shift into contact. Scott shows some raw power potential when his timing in the box is right. However, we think his best chance is on the mound where he throws a 72 mph fastball with slight movement. His curveball is 62 mph with an 11/5 break with loose rotation and average depth. With added velocity and tightening up his curveball, we think he has a chance at the next level. Scott is also a very good student.
