Jordan Pearce is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 6-2 203 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends El Camino HS. Big strong physical build, fairly mature. Quality two-way prospect. Left handed hitter, open stance, looking to pull and lift, very strong swing with big power, hits the ball hard and puts the ball in the air, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact. 7.29 runner, some agility for his size, very good infield arm strength, accurate on line throws. Also a top pitching prospect, high leg lift delivery, loose long arm action, upper 80's fastball topped at 89 mph, good heavy sinking life, ball comes out clean, hard mid-70's curveball with tight spin and sharp bite, developing change up. Lots of tools to develop. Verbal commitment to San Diego. Good student.

Jordan Pearce is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 6-1 203 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends El Camino HS. Big strong physical build, fairly mature. Two-way player, better prospect as RHP this look. Fastball to 90 mph from high 3/4's release, works downhill well, hard spin on mid 70's curveball, good bite and depth, developing feel for change up, worked quickly and aggressively, looks like a power arm to develop. Left handed hitter, spread stance, late load causes barrel to be late, has strength and bat speed to drive ball when timing on. Good footwork and range a first base, shows arm strength at third. Higher ceiling on the mound, has two quality present pitches and should continue to improve. Verbal commitment to San Diego.
