Ryan Skoruppa is a 2012 LHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Robstown, TX who attends Tuloso Midway HS. Slender young build, medium frame. Opens early in delivery, lands on a hard front side, bit cross body on release, long extended arm action, 3/4's slot, gets extension out front. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight. Throws short slider for strikes, some feel for change up, looks to work ahead and get hitters to swing. Excellent pick off move, caught 4 base runners in 3 innings of work. Should improve with additional strength, Good student.
