Mike Geaslen is a 2014 C/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Andover, MA who attends St Johns Preparatory. Geaslen has a medium sized frame with a thin lean build. Defensively he uses a long arm action behind the plate with some arm strength. He has developing catch and throw tools and gets carry on his throws. At the plate, Geaslen starts with a wide base and swings from a slight crouch. He has balance through his swing and gets extension. Geaslen gets around the ball and made solid middle of the field contact in BP. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action. he has an inline delivery and pitches with lower effort. There is more in there with some lower half adjustments. Very good student.
