Parker Rhoads is a 2012 MIF/RHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from West Lafayette, IN who attends West Lafayette HS. Rhoads has a tall and lean projectable build with room for continued strength gains. Very good defensive setup, smooth and quiet footwork, moves well laterally wtih good body control, makes routine plays and makes accurate throws across the infield. Open stance at the plate with a lift and replace style, line drive swing path that gets through the zone, shows good opposite field contact. Short arm action on the mound, and throws with relative ease, no strain in delivery or mechanics. 11-5 curveball shows good shape and is a good pitch to continue to develop. Good student.
