Tommy Gambon is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Bethesda, MD who attends Georgetown Preparatory School. Gambon has a slender athletic build, tall projectable build with room for continued strength gains. Active defender in the outfield and plays through the ball well, aggressive to the ball with a good first step. Has arm strength and makes accurate throws to bases. Spread stance at the plate with a short quick swing that produces contact to all fields. Good plate coverage and does a good job staying back and going with the pitch on the outer half of the plate. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, mechanics are solid and balanced and he employs a high leg kick. Displays pitchability working both sides of the plate for strikes and setting up his slider. Good extension out front. Very good student.
