Treyton Stender is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-3 177 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Ironwood Ridge HS. Tall, slender build, looks taller than listed. Grades out much higher as a 1B. Very nice hitting rhythm, stays balanced, smooth and coordinated swing, loose hands with extension out front, squares up consistently, made nice adjustments against left handed pitching, fluid and projectable with more strength. Moves well at first base, sound defensively. Long slinging arm action on the mound, side arm release point, falls off early to 3B side, fastball topped at 73 mph, limited feel for off speed. Has lots of natural hitting ability to develop as he gets stronger. Good student.
