Jason Schaum is a 2013 RHP/ with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Bucky Dent Baseball Academy. Tall, strong build, good athleticism, projectable body. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot, long arm action in the back, looks nice and easy, needs to finish out front a little bit better. Works down in the strike zone, sound arm action. Works at 77-80 mph with his fastball, shows a little life and run. Curveball shows some potential, 11-5 rotation, needs to make sure he stays on top, flashes good bite. Changeup still a work in progress. Good student.

Gets to balls, hands are solid. Arm action works. Stays inside the ball well at the plate. Smooth swing, tall at contact point. Swing path works well. Solid approach, looks to hit the ball to the middle of the field, with the ability to go the other way. Good student.
