Hecmart Nieves is a 2012 RHP/ with a 5-11 157 lb. frame from Juncos, PR who attends Puerto Rico BB Academy. Slender lean build. Full windup, extended arm action in back, drop and drive to the plate, 3/4's release point, works quickly, tends to fall off to 1B side on release. Low 80's fastball, touched 83 mph, mostly straight, curveball has good spin at times and 2-plane break. Loose arm, should continue to improve with strength.
