Marcus Moreland is a 2012 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Cordova, TN who attends White Station. Strong athletic build, well-developed. Very good present strength in swing, ball jumps off the bat, squares up, stays on the ball, shows good bat speed, will need to work on shortening up swing some, has tools to improve. Arm works behind the plate, good footwork, nice feel for the game. High 3/4 arm slot on mound, works the corners well, not afraid to come inside, gets ahead of batters, fields position well. Outstanding student.

Thick strong muscular build. 2 handed receiver, long arm action, accurate throws, will need to improve quickness, 2.20 best pop. Wide base hitting, deep hand load, long swing with some bat speed, likes to extend his hands, line drive contact. Also pitched, mid 70's fastball, full delivery, threw strikes and got quick outs. Hustling type player. Very good student.
