Jessey Melendez is a 2013 MIF/OF with a 5-6 153 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends John Marshall HS. Smaller build but has some present strength. 7.31 runner, second base actions defensively, quick feet and a very quick release, good hands at the ball. Right handed hitter, straight stance, bit closed, aggressive swing, short and quick to the ball, stays inside well, simple sound swing mechanics, solid right centerfield contact, ball comes off the barrel well, strong top hand at contact, has an idea how to hit.
