Will Jones is a 2013 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Desert Mountain HS. Lean athletic build, projects well. High leg raise/chin tuck delivery, extended arm circle, over the top release point, good extension out front. Low 80's fastball, some arm side run when down, tends to pitch up with fastball, good upper 60's curveball spin, 2-plane break, rare change up. Sound defensive actions both as third baseman and corner outfielder, loose strong arm, accurate throws, 7.37 runner. Right handed hitter, drifts into contact, some strength/bat speed, middle of the field approach, showed some power potential. Good all around athlete who should continue to develop in all areas. Very good student.
