Sean Hill is a 2012 LHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Renton, WA who attends Newport. Hill has a athletic slender build with room for continued development. Works quickly on the mound, throwing from a high 3/4 release point. Has an idea, locating on both sides of the plate with his fastball and knows when to waste a pitch. High leg kick, hides ball, arm works clean. Lands online to the plate and gets arm side run on his fastball. Pitches to contact and makes hitters work, stays down in the zone and gets ground balls. Projects with increased strength gains. Good student.
