Vincent Sorrentino is a 2012 1B/RHP with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands HS. Extra large build, good present strength, football build. Shows raw arm strength from the outfield, 7.55 runner, hands are soft at 1B, good balance and one spot athleticism. Wide stance hitting, weight back, has some bat speed, ball jumps some on contact, stays pretty short to contact, can hit the ball hard to the opposite field. Also pitched, mid 80's fastball, easy delivery with clean arm action, throws downhill, fastball has good life, nice feel for a change up, got over curveball well with nice spin/shape. Has potential on the mound.
