Colin Currie is a 2011 C/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Chilliwack, BC who attends Sardis Secondary. Currie has a very strong physical build with broad sloping shoulders. Sets up well behind the plate, provides good target, receives well and moves well to block. Expect to see lower pop time with slight adjustments to mechanics. Hits from a straight away stance at the plate showing good balance, and looks to pull anything on the inner half of the plate. Ball will jump off bat when he gets extended and stays through the ball.
