Ryan Klinkert is a 2005 left handed pitcher from Orange California with long arms and legs and a tall lean body at 6 ft. 6 210 pounds. He has a high leg kick and he pitches from a high 3/4 slot. He is long in back and is deceptive on his release. His fastball is sneaky topping out at 83 mph. He has a 12-6 looping curveball topping out at 67 mph with good depth. His curveball has very big break at times, and it is an effective out pitch. He throws a straight change at 75 mph. He has an extremely projectable 6 ft. 6 pitchers frame and should increase his velocity a great deal at the next level. He is a very good LHP prospect with sky is the limit potential. Ryan is an excellent student.

Ryan is a 2005 grad from Canyon High School in Orange, California. He has an intimdating and extremely projectable 6-6, 210 lb frame. Ryan throws from a quick tempo delivery with a herky jerky stabbling action in back that adds deception for the hitters. He finishes well out front with some good arm speed. Ryan's fastball topped out 80 mph aand he threw a 63-65 mph curveball. We're confident that he will be throwing harder, maybe much harder, in the future and we look for big things from him when that happens. It could happen really soon! Ryan should create a lot of interest with the colleges. He has a very high ceiling. He is also an outstanding student. Keep a close eye on him for big improvement.
