Starts with an open squatty stance at the plate, has high hands, leg lift trigger, good balance, patient approach, has good bat speed with lift in his swing, makes line drive contact. Has good instincts on the bases with good speed. Is an excellent student.

Daniel Pinero is a 2012 MIF/3B, 1B with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends St Michael's College School. Very long, thin build with tons of projection in body. Very good feel for SS and 3B positions. Feet are quick, shows good range to both sides. Hands field cleanly and has good body control and smooth arm action. Very impressive during games at SS. Long swing with good balance and extension. Mostly opposite field with contact, also showed ability to pull the ball with hard line drives during game play. Projectable athlete to watch.
