2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Hutzler is an "04" INF who can play. At 5'9/170 he is strong and athletic. He runs very well and don't be deceived by the gun reading on his throws across the infield. He has a good arm. He showed some of the best feet in Wareham and knows how to use them. Defensively he looks very solid and it looks like he's a student of the game. He showed good hitting ability, mostly a contact line drive type. He's fun to watch because he's very much a first pitch attacker when the ball is hittable. Excellent player, maybe even better than we saw in Wareham. Ryan is an excellent student.
