Dalton Duty is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from Palatka, FL who attends Palatka HS. Medium athletic build with very good present strength, has got much stronger in the last 6 months. Left handed hitter, spread stance with limited weight shift, handsy swing with late hitch load, keeps hands tight, hands are quick and strong and generate bat speed, stays short to the ball, consistent hard line drive contact, can drive the ball hard to the gaps. 6.83 runner, very easy and athletic outfield actions, top level footwork and release, very smooth, accurate on line throws, polished high level defender. Also pitched, long arm action, 3/4's release slot, high leg raise delivery, mid-80's fastball with a solid hard downer curveball. Improvement in strength stands out. Hard nosed player who plays hard. Signed with Central Florida.
