Ryan Green is a 2012 C/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Mission, BC who attends Yale Academy. Green has a compact frame with developing strength. Sets up and receives well behind the plate, and is quick to his feet. Will see a reduced pop time by simply shortening up his release on throws to second base. Shows arm strength and makes accurate throws to second base. Has tools behind the plate. Straight away and upright stance at the plate, and stays balanced through his swing. Generates line drive contact, and shows extension in his swing. Good student.
