Braxton Shetley is a 2013 RHP/SS, 3B with a 6-1 176 lb. frame from Thomasville, NC who attends East Davidson. Strong athletic build, room to fill. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, short arm action, good arm speed. Online delivery, athletic delivery, repeats, pounded strike zone, good four pitch mix. 11-5 break on curveball with good action, good feel for slider in upper 70s, good sinking action on changeup. Showed well on mound in spite of poor weather conditions, likely even better under more ideal circumstances but he didn't let it show. Short swing path, rotational, throws hands, hits against stiff front side, line drive swing plane. Quick release on throws in infield, solid defensive actions. Interesting pitcher to follow. Good student.
