Michael Emigh is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Emigh has a slender projectable frame with long limbs and room for continued strength development. Works from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound, good arm action, comes through clean and fast. Balanced delivery and good mechanics. Lots of strikes and good pitchability. Really has an idea on the mound and likes to get ahead with the fastball and put hitters away with his 2-8 curveball. His curveball is really a good pitch, good tight spin, thrown for strikes or can miss with it when he wants to. Good athlete that fields his position coming off the mound. Spread stance at the plate, long swing with lift in it, and gets good extension. Squares the ball up consistently, showing good bat speed. Named to Top Prospect Team.
