Nicolas Sheehan is a 2012 1B/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Aldergrove, BC who attends Aldergrove Community Sec. Sheehan has a good frame, tall and slender with sloping shoulders, also has room for continued strength gains. Positions self well around first base, makes plays to either side and gets to the ball when coming in as well. Good target and can pick it out of the dirt. Open stance at the plate, shows batspeed, good recognition, contact to all fields, shows pop to his pullside, one hand finish to swing. 3/4 release on the mound and shows armspeed, works quickly and challenges hitters, works primarily off of fastball using both sides of the plate. Very good student.
