Greg Lucas is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Hickory, NC who attends St. Stephens HS. Slender build with lots of room to fill out. Pitches from high 3/4 slot. Loose arm action, stays balanced and repeats mechanics well. Good command of three pitches. Curveball shows 12/6 break and straight change arm action works. Good mound presence. Good athlete who moves well around the bag at 1B and shows good balance when fielding. Arm action is smooth and short in the back and throws show carry. Left-handed hitter with a smooth uppercut swing. Good balance and extension with pop. Does not get cheated at plate. Showed ability to make hard contact to all fields.
