Daniel Posway is a 2012 RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Large framed physical build, good present strength. Leg raise delivery, tends to pitch hunched over, long arm action with wrap in back, over the top release point. Shows some arm strength and speed, steady 82-84 mph fastball, mostly straight. Curveball best pitch, good downer spin when he stays back, good bite and depth, throws strikes more consistently with curveball than fastball. Rare change up. Got in a nice groove and had a few easy innings, could improve further with mechanical adjustments. Big leg kick hitting style, has some strength and bat speed, moves through contact well, upper body swing, occasional lift. Good student.

Daniel Posway is a 2012 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Nice athletic frame with good present strength, projects well. High leg raise delivery, good balance, stays on line, long extended arm action in back, 3/4's arm slot, will fly open on release occasionally, generates some arm speed. Fastball 80-82 mph, some run/sink, gets good sink on change as well, shows feel for upper 60's curveball, good idea how to pitch. Shows strength in swing, good extension out front, finds the barrel, patient game approach, upper cut swing plane, power approach. Good student.

Daniel Posway is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Strake Jesuit HS. Large athletic frame, good present strength. Tall well paced delivery, some wrap in back but works through it well, 3/4's release point, repeats well and keeps all pitches down in the zone. Low 80's fastball topped at 83 mph, hard tailing action occasionally, big sweeping CB with good spin, showed nice feel for change up. Mixed pitches well and was in command, knows how to pitch, should improve. Good athletic actions at 3B, charges well, 7.38 runner. Wide base hitting, foot gets down late, line drive plane, hits to all fields, will improve with better timing. Good student.
