Jake Forte is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 6-1 203 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends The Westminster School. Big strong physical build. Right handed hitter, simple load and hand path, keeps hands tight, some length and leverage through contact, ball comes off the barrel well, has strength and bat speed, balance and swing mechanics not consistent yet, has the hitting tools to keep improving. Solid infield actions, quick release, throws have some carry from the hole, good hands, over the top release point, possible third base future. Also pitched, sound delivery mechanics, steady 86-87 mph fastball, mostly straight, got hard tight spin on 75 mph curveball, has two-way potential.
