Wesley Jones is a 2013 SS/3B/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Lithonia, GA who attends Redan HS. Broad shouldered athletic build, very good projection. 6.96 runner, easy defensive actions, gets into position well, aggressive to the ball, sound footwork, smooth hands with quick exchange, very good arm strength. Right handed hitter, square stance, fluid swing with some length and bat speed, hands work well at the ball, gap to gap power, bit rotational with his upper half, stays level on the ball, aggressive swing. Also pitched, long loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot, smooth low effort mechanics with good balance. Steady upper 80's fastball, good running action both side of the plate, curveball flashes hard spin and depth, not consistent with shape yet, some developing feel for change up, mixes pitches well and goes after hitters. Very talented multi-tool player, waiting for single tool to become plus/plus. Ability is there. Named to the Top Prospect Team.

Wesley Jones is a 2013 MIF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Lithonia, GA who attends Redan HS. Long, lean athletic build, really projects well. Excellent infield actions, shows range, easy release with future plus arm strength, very smooth and athletic, charges well, soft hands, may outgrow SS and end up at 3B. Right handed hitter, smooth swing, quick hands, present bat speed, line drive swing plane with occasional lift, simple approach, good extension when pulling, sees the ball and works counts, mature hitter. Also pitched, loose and easy arm action, mid 80's fastball, tends to get off line on release, hard curveball with hard biting action, mixes pitches. Very high ceiling baseball player. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect team.
