Robert Walker is a 2005 right handed pitcher from Sarasota, FL. At 6'3", 165 lbs., Robert has a tall and lean frame that is still maturing physically. He projects very nicely. He has an easy and relaxed motion from a 3/4 arm slot. Walker showed some tail on his 81 mph fastball with command. With his body still maturing, we believe his velocity will go up a lot as he gains more strength. Walker also threw a curveball at 64-65 mph, but his best secondary pitch was a 72 mph split finger with some sink. This is a pitcher to keep a close eye on. There's no question his best years are ahead of him and he's got a good arm. Robert is a good student.
