Jarrett Sotolongo is a 2011 3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Baldwin Park, CA who attends Baldwin Park HS. Smaller frame, slender build. 7.70 runner, charges ball well in the infield, good balance at the ball, long release, tends to field ball deep. Right handed hitter, square stance, long stride, lays the bat back, big load, long level line drive swing, some backside collapse, has some extension out front. Also pitched, balanced delivery with good hip turn, fastball to 78 mph, soft mid 60's curveball.
