Gunnar McNeill is a 2013 1B/RHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends West Orange HS. Big strong physical build, mature look, strong lower half. Right handed hitter, balanced stance, high hands, loose strong swing with good extension, uses strong hands well, owns the right centerfield alley, mature hitter who squares the ball up, can drive the alleys, nice swing path, hard top spin. Big target at first, good footwork, lots of arm strength, 7.38 runner. Also pitched, compact arm action, fastball to 87 mph, some spin on 73 mph curveball, throws strikes. Taller Christian Walker (South Carolina/4th round 2012 Orioles) comparison. Can really hit.

Also pitched, simple delivery mechanics, tight 3/4's release point, fastball to 84 mph, mostly straight, gets 12/6 downer spin on curveball, good late sink on change up. Good student.
