James Annello is a 2012 C/OF, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Waterford, CT who attends Waterford. Medium athletic build. Solid catch and throw skills. He showed a quick release and smooth transfer. Feet gained ground on throws and showed consistent arm strength in games and in the workout with a high velocity of 79. Pop times were lower in between innings in games, 2.00-2.05. Short swing at the plate with a line drive swing plane. He keeps his weight back well and is aggressive to the ball resulting in line drives to center and right-center field. He also showed the ability to pull the ball and has pop in his bat. Very good student.
