Ismael Perez is a 2011 1B/RHP with a 6'2'', 187 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Saint Brendan HS. Tall athletic frame, good strength potential. Quiet hitting approach, generates good bat speed, stays squared and balanced, tends to cut off a bit out front, drove the ball well to the middle of the field, good power potential. Shows athletic ability both 1B and OF, some arm strength, soft hands at 1B, charges ball well. Also pitched, FB to 79 mph, some effort, flashed CB and Chg. Good student.
