Adonis Morrison is a 2013 3B/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Compton, CA who attends Gahr HS. Medium athletic build, strong lower half. Right handed hitter, spread stance, hands back, good weight shift and rhythm to the ball, long and loose swing, has quick hands, good extension out front, creates present bat speed, nice looking swing, squares up on the ball, has confident hitting actions and should keep improving with added strength. Sound infield actions, some one step quickness, soft hands, quick release, profiles physically as a catcher, 7.83 runner, would be interesting to see behind the plate. Bat will carry for now, good looking young hitter.
