Eric Stapleton is a 2011 RHP with a 6-9 205 lb. frame from Defiance, OH who attends Defiance HS. Extra long slender build, minimal present strength. Complicated multi-part arm action, stays tall in delivery, high 3/4's release point, hides ball effectively. Mid 80's fastball to 87 mph, soft CB with occ depth, split finger action on nice sinking change up. Throws strikes. Hard to project velocity with present arm action. Good student.
