Phillip Lowe is a 2007 RHP/3B/C from ECS HS in Ft Myers, FL, with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame. He has a nice athletic body that projects well and good balanced overall actions. Lowe ran the 60 in 7.41 and showed good infield actions at third base, along with 80 mph arm strength. Lowe throws from a mid to regular 3/4's arm slot with a long, smooth arm action. He has a low effort delivery and the ball comes out of his hand easily. Lowe's fastball was in the 78-80 mph range and he spotted his fastball well around the strike zone. Lowe's best secondary pitch was a 68 mph change up that had good sink and run with consistent arm speed. He also threw a 68 mph curveball. Lowe mixed up his pitched well and showed he knew what he was doing on the mound. He projects to gain velocity in the future as he develops more strength. Good follow. Lowe is also a very good student.

Phillip Lowe is a 6' 165 pound 2007 right handed pitcher, third baseman, and catcher from Ft Myers, Florida who attends ECS High School. He has a tall slender athletic build with a medium frame. Phillip has good arm strength across the infield where he threw 81 mph during the workout. He showed some good range at third base with good flex in his body. Lowe is a line drive hitter who makes consistently good contact. He has good rhythm in his swing and has a balanced approach. He gets good leverage at contact and hits with a narrow upright stance. Phillip throws from a 3/4 arm slot and his arm works very well. He is loose and easy and uses minimal effort. He shows good command of all three pitches and repeats his delivery consistently. His fastball was at 80 mph with decent arm side run and his curveball was at 69 mph. His best pitch was his change up at 67 mph with good sink and run. He has good touch and feel for all of his pitches. Phillip is also an excellent student with a 3.8 gpa.

Phillip Lowe is a 2007 3B/C/RHP from Ft. Myers, Florida, with a projectable 6'0", 165 lb. frame. Lowe is a right handed hitter with good balance in his swing. He has a gap to gap approach with solid bat speed. Lowe is a patient hitter and doesn't chase balls out of the zone. Defensively he showed good hands and footwork at third base with solid arm strength for his age. Lowe also took a turn on the mound throwing two innings and not allowing a run on two hits while striking out two. He has very smooth mechanics with good balance through his delivery. Lowe has a loose arm with good arm speed. He is a smart pitcher, and showed solid control of his pitches. His fastball topped out at 78 mph with good movement. He also mixed in a 67 mph breaking ball. Lowe has a young body that is very projectable. He has present tools, and looks like he has a great future. Lowe is also a very good student.
