Jordan Smith is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Eden Prairie, MN who attends Eden Prairie. Good athlete with strength and projection. Pitches from 3/4 slot with very short arm action. Simple delivery with solid arm speed and more velocity to come. Repeats mechanics and throws lots of strikes. Fastball sat around 80, curveball with 1/7 break had good shape, and changeup is developing third pitch. Left-handed bat with lots of potential. Easy stroke with bat speed and pop to all fields. Ball jumps off bat and he does a good job of staying inside the ball. Very solid two-way prospect. Good student.
