Solid build with present strength, good mound presence, high 3/4 arm slot, easy arm action, threw 12-6 curveball with good shape and bite, seen him up to 84 before, sat low 80's this outing, switch hits, from left side, has quick hands with good bat speed, makes solid contact, very solid BP from left side, from right side, short compact swing, good contact, squares ball up, shows bat speed but not as much bat speed as the left side, defensively, good action, feet work well. He is an excellent student.

Robert DePaula is a 2010 LHP/1B with a 6'3'', 210 lb. frame from Islamorada, FL who attends Coral Shores HS. Wide shouldered build, very good present strength. Easy low effort delivery, cross body release, high 3/4's slot. Upper 70's fastball, topped at 79 mph, have seen at 84 mph before, big sweeping slow curveball with good spin/bite, CB is very effective, nice feel for change up, good mound presence and command. Wide stance hitting, compact swing, short to the ball, switch hitter with better bat speed/strength right handed, good contact. Good student.
