2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Driscoll is an "04" RHP/1B with a good baseball body. At 6'2/185 he is evenly proportioned with room for even more strength. He threw 78 mph across the infield and showed very good hands at 1B. He didn't cheat himself in BP as he really attacked the ball. It was fun to watch him swing the bat. He did come around the ball and hooked a few, but it was good to see someone so aggressive. On the mound he was better yet. He threw 83 out of a high leg lift with good leverage. He threw well, showing a nice sharp curve ball. Once again he was aggressive and appeared very competitive. He has a chance to be real good at the next level. Looks like a hard worker. Patrick is an excellent student and is interested in the Ivy League Schools.
