Dylan Manwaring is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Horseheads, NY who attends Horseheads HS. Tall and lean athletic body, good present strength. Two-way prospect. 7.12 runner, third base tools and actions, very good infield arm strength, moves well for size, has actions, soft hands. Right handed hitter, straight stance, long extended swing, wants to get hands extended to ball, has strength and power potential. Also pitched, simple turn and throw delivery, 3/4's arm slot, tends to fall off on release, arm is free and easy, good horizontal leverage at release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly upper 80's, good running action,, good shape and depth to sweeping slider. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
