Zachary Kane is a 2012 SS/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Niantic, CT who attends East Lyme. Medium, athletic build with room to fill. Has solid infield tools that work at SS, 2B or 3B. Fields the ball deep, but hands are clean. Short arm action with playable arm strength. Good coming in on ball and throwing on run. Slightly open stance at the plate. Pull approach but also hits the ball well to center and right-center field. Long to the ball with a rotational swing. Hands work to get to the ball. Very good student.
