Nicholas Banks is a 2013 OF/LHP with a 6-2 194 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball HS. Very athletic build, plus strength and still projects. 6.91 runner, long and easy arm action, arm strength projects, accurate on line throws, right field profile. Left handed hitter, low hand start, strong rotational swing, front foot sometimes down late, lift and extension in swing, very good bat speed, easy power when timing on, can go opposite field with authority. Also pitched, good arm action, 3/4's arm slot, bit cross body on release, mid 80's fastball with good sink, topped out at 86 mph, big breaking curveball with good spin. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
