Matthew Spradlin is a 2012 C/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Bridgeton, MO who attends St John Vianney. He has a strong, muscular build. His footwork was very good behind plate, and he recieved cleanly. He gained ground with his feet on throws and blocked well. His arm is accurate from 3B with good carry. At the plate, he has a smooth load with quickness in bat. He has bat speed with strength in swing, and a chance to hit for power.
