Colin Rodgers is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Greenwell Springs, LA who attends Parkview Baptist School. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Leg lift delivery, extended 3/4's arm slot, arm is smooth and quick, some effort at release. 88-91 mph fastball, nice consistent sink and tailing action, will drop down to low 3/4's at times with similar velocity. Big sweeping slider, sharp biting action, very good depth at times. Works quickly and has an idea with the strike zone, made it look easy against good hitters. Verbal commitment to Auburn.
